Pre-feasibility Study

Top Previous Next

A Pre-feasibility study focuses on the additional work that has been identified in the Reconnaissance study to better define the options available for solving a water resource problem.

Analysing and evaluating different solutions to a water resource related problem, including defining the impacts associated with each of the options and an initial cost estimate to be able to compare different options. The outputs are the elimination of unlikely options that does not need further study and recommendations to the most feasible options that need in depth study to solve the problem.

Why is a pre-feasibility study important?

Eliminates improbable options and lists possible options to a water resource related problem that can be investigated during a feasibility study.
