Managing the Hydrological Network in Mpumalanga Region. Establishment of a total Hydrological function in the region. Ensuring the availability of reliable data in order to assist the authorities in their endeavor to provide resources that are equally distributed and beneficial to all the inhabitants of South Africa
C. HARMSE SENIOR INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN	Manage and co-ordinate maintenance and data collecting activities in sub-region. Responsible for calibration of gauging weirs.
P. SWART INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN	Responsible for surveying AND calibration of gauging weirs.
T. COLYN CONTROL AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	MANAGE THE EDITING, PROCESSING, CAPTURING AND DISSEMINATION OF HYDROLOGICAL DATA DESCENDED FROM VARIOUS RESOURCES IN MPUMALANGA REGION. MAINTAIN THE NATIONAL HYDROLOGICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM (H I S) WHICH REQUIRES THE APPLICATION OF VARIOUS QUALITY CONTROL MEASURES IN THE ENDEAVOR TO ENSURE THE STORAGE OF RELIABLE DATA.
R. MOSELAKGOMO CHIEF AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	PREPARATION, EDITING, EVALUATING OF HYDROLOGICAL SOURCE DOCUMENTS AND THE UPLOADING OF RELIABLE DATA ON THE MAINFRAME (HYDROLOGICAL INFORMATION SYSTEM). LIAISON WITH VARIOUS DATA COLLECTING SOURCES TO ENSURE THE TIMEOUS AVAILABILITY OF HYDROLOGICAL INFORMATION.

	FUNCTION
J. COETZER CHIEF INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN	To manage the collecting of Hydrological data and to maintain the existing network of gauging stations in Mpumalanga region. Identify gauging stations with international importance and the equipping thereof with real time communication devices. Catchment management with regard to the Hydrological network which require the eliminating of excessive monitoring points and the constructing of new gauging stations.
J. DORFLING CHIEF AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	To manage the collecting of Hydrological data in Mpumalanga Co-ordinate water sampling program according to prescribed frequency and type. Assistance in the execution of maintenance program and calibration activities.
H. REYNEKE INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN	Manage and co-ordinate maintenance and data collecting activities in sub-region. Responsible for calibration of gauging weirs.
E. Mkhize INDUSTRIAL TECHNICIAN	Manage and co-ordinate maintenance and data collecting activities in sub-region. Responsible for calibration of gauging weirs.
E. VAN DER MERWE FIRST AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	EDITING, DIGITIZING AND COMPUTING OF HYDROLOGICAL SOURCE DOCUMENTS. LIAISON WITH DATA COLLECTING SOURCES TO ENSURE THE TIMEOUS GATHERING AND COMPUTING OF HYDROLOGICAL INFORMATION.
MIKE MOYO AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	DATA COLLECTING IN A ALLOCATED REGION IN MPUMALANGA TO ENSURE THE TIMEOUS AVAILABILITY THEREOF. ASSISTANCE WITH BASIC TECHNICAL TASKS.
TERRENCE RAMALEPE AUXILIARY SERVICE OFFICER	DATA COLLECTING IN A ALLOCATED REGION IN MPUMALANGA TO ENSURE THE TIMEOUS AVAILABILITY THEREOF. ASSISTANCE WITH BASIC TECHNICAL TASKS.
