Purpose:
- What mechanisms are needed to ensure that all households in the Region have basic clean water and sanitation by the 2010?
- The action plan for ensuring that the bucket system is eradicated by the year 2010?
- An integrated plan for sustainable water provision in a water scarce province, despite climate change and other factors, to ensure adequate supply to water users, especially Historically Disadvantaged Users, such as Poor Resource Farmers. How are various Departments ensuring that Poor Resource Framers are catered for in term of land, water and food?
- How are the various Departments planning around the issue of polluted water resources, such as rivers and canals?
