Nomination
- The nominees must come from water managed projects by women who have excelled in their field and who have made a significant contribution to the water sector in South Africa.
- Nominees must be women led groups, Non-Govermental Organisations (NGOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Municipalities and other institutions.
- Successful nominations will be chosen by the adjudication panel for: the use of knowledge; skills; and considerable capacity to ensure that water management in South Africa contributes to a better life for all.
- Nominations will be considered by a panel of adjudicators across water sector.
Adjudication Process Nominations for each category will be considered chosen by a distinguished panel
of adjudicators based on the criteria discussed above inclusive of:
- Proven involvement and impact by women in the water
- Innovation and sustainable management of water by women
- Contribution towards BBBEE imperatives
- Significant involvement and impact by women and girls in water
