DWAF decided to use WWMD to mobilise young people through Aqua Enduro 2008
who are keen to pursue a career in Water. This will help to raise awareness
amongst learners on Drinking Water Quality (DWQ) issues as well as address the
skills shortage in the South African Water Sector.
AQUA ENDURO 2008 seeks to bring together young people from around the country
for a week-long eventfilled with Water activities and sports & games. The idea
is to engage young people in mental and physicalactivities that test their
intellectual capabilities and stamina while learning about Water and having fun!
Hence the slogan LEARN WATER THROUGH FUN & PLAY!
