'Operation Hydrate' collected R61 million towards alleviating the dry spell in areas that are hit the hardest by the drought
The milestone achieved at the weekend water drive which started on Friday 29 January to Sunday 31 January 2016 at the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Houghton

Minister of Water and Sanitation, Nomvula Mokonyane saying she believes the initiative will help unite the country as the current water woes resulting in the drought affect every individual

The collected water will be distributed in drought stricken areas across the country through the use of water tankers and water containers throughout the week
Various water drives carried out across the country since the beginning of January 2016 also joint by a Muslim Primary school in Houghton
